We are recruiting for one of the largest, most notorious retailers in the Middle-East with a long standing history of success, with its head office based in Dubai.

A large part their retail offering includes Luxury International Department Stores.

The culture of the business is forward thinking, friendly, approachable yet professional and hardworking. They have a Dubai based Head office team, which supports the stores throughout the region.

As a result of recent internal promotions, a role has arisen in one of its key and most profitable stores in Dubai.

The role

The role reports directly into the Floor Manager.

As Deputy Floor Manager you will be responsible for a team of approximately 30 employees.

You will be responsible for running the operation, managing the team, increasing profitability of the floor, the performance of the team and all employee related activities.

Having good business knowledge, being commercial and being able to develop your team will be key performance objectives.

About you

You will be experienced in running large departments within a department store environment, and ideally will have worked in a luxury department store previously.

You must be able to manage a team of at least 30 employees and have outstanding operational management and man management experience.

You should have a passion for luxury fashion/cosmetics, will be extremely hard working, and not phased by a constantly evolving business, and you should be eager to remain at he cutting edge of what is happening in your product sectors.

It is also really important that you have a strong personality, and a good sense of humour
