$63,000 package + 5 weeks annual leave
My client is one of Australia’s largest owned and operated IT company with offices in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Due to company growth, we are currently looking for an experienced Service Desk Analyst to join the after hours team. Located just 15 minutes from Chatswood with free on site parking, you will be part of this successful and reputable company who pride themselves on creating careers paths for their employees.
The purpose of your role as the Service Desk Analyst, is to monitor multiple customers data, voice and server networks and take corrective action in response to queries and incidents as they occur. This will see you logging and resolving incidents, responding to network alarms, actioning service requests all in line with desired service levels.
To be successful, you will need:
A minimum of 1-2 years experience in managing and troubleshooting in an outsrouced help desk environment comprising Cisco routers/switches, Cisco Wireless LAN devices, and PacketShaper appliances
Proven experience in commercial call logging tools such as Frontrange ITSM (preference), CA Service Desk or Remedy etc
Proven experience in supporting commercial IP telephony systems such as Cisco, Nortel, Alcatel, etc
A base level understanding of MS Operating Systems (2000, XP, Vista), Microsoft Office, Microsoft SMS and Active directory, Internet browsers

Display enthusiasm and a general desire to be working in a help desk environment
Communicate clearly and effectively over the phone
Work well under pressure
